Architectural & Interior Project Lead

For overseas applications, work visa can be arranged for successful candidates.

The position is full-time. Permanent, short-term or freelance contracts negotiable.

Responsibilities and opportunities

  • Discussing the objectives, requirements and budget of a project

  • Consulting with other professionals about design

  • Preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals to the clients

  • Leading design meetings and workshops with stakeholders

  • Advising the client on the practicality of their project;

  • Using IT in design and project management, specifically using computer-aided design software

  • Keeping within financial budgets and deadlines;

  • Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications

  • Specifying the nature and quality of materials required

  • Preparing tender applications and presentations

  • Negotiating with contractors and other professionals

  • Project managing and helping to coordinate the work of contractors

  • Controlling a project from start to finish

  • Regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget

  • Resolving problems and issues that arise during construction

  • Ensuring that the environmental impact of the project is managed

  • Supervising staff & reporting to the directors

  • Providing training to staff

  • Leading a design team of 2-3 staff (Architectural Assistant/Interior Designer/Draftsman)


  • Contributing to the development of the company as a European rooted brand by developing research, branding & marketing activities

Requirements

  • Fluent in English; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.

  • Have a portfolio of individual design works and demonstrate strong proficiency in 2D drafting, fluent 3D modelling (SketchUp and Enscape preferred)

Architectural Designer / Interior Designer

For overseas applications, candidates should apply for a working holiday visa, or a work visa can be sponsored for successful candidates. For RIBA Year Out placements, each student will be assigned to a mentor to provide guidance and fulfil experiences and signing of PEDR logbooks.

Responsibilities and opportunities

  • Working closely with our design team and directors for ongoing projects

  • Site survey

  • Produce design hand drawings, CAD drawings, 3D modelling and visuals

  • Materials and products sourcing & documentation

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, consultants and client

  • Attend and minute client and design team coordination meetings

  • Attend external workshop visits

  • Attend site meetings and admin reports

  • Participate/assist studio space tidy and clean ups

  • Participate/assist in photoshoot and company events

Requirements

  • Fluent in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus

  • Have a portfolio of individual or academic design works (and ideally proficiency in 2D drafting in AutoCAD, 3D modelling and rendering (SketchUp and Enscape preferred)

Technical Designer / CAD Manager

The position is full-time. Permanent, short-term or freelance contracts negotiable.

Responsibilities and opportunities

  • Work closely with design team to produce, check and advise on technical design for all projects

  • Provide advanced knowledge with extensive experience in high quality detail designs

  • Ensure designs and drawings comply with building regulations

  • Assist design team to resolve construction stage technical issues

  • Assist development of studio CAD library

  • Produce bespoke and custom joinery details

  • Attend/participate in site surveys

  • Attend external coordination meetings when necessary

  • Providing mentoring/training to junior assistants

Requirements

  • Fluent in English; Mandarin/Cantonese speaking is a plus

  • Legibility to live and work in Hong Kong with permit preferable.

  • Substantial work experience in industry

  • Have a portfolio demonstrating advanced knowledge of construction

  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software (optional BIM)

  • Proficient experience in incorporating proposals by other consultants (eg. MEP, IT, AV, security, lighting, acoustics, structural, etc.) into technical drawings

  • Excellent technical design skills

  • Competent knowledge of building regulations

  • Advanced knowledge of building materials

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills

CAD Draftsman

The position is full-time. Permanent, short-term or freelance contracts negotiable.

Responsibilities and opportunities

  • Work with design team to produce technical CAD drawings for various projects

  • Attend/participate in site surveys

Requirements

  • Fluent in English; Mandarin/Cantonese speaking is a plus

  • Legibility to live and work in Hong Kong with permit preferable. Overseas candidates and remote working are also considered

  • Outgoing, friendly, sense of team spirit, confident and dedicated


  • 2 to 3 years minimum previous work experience as a draftsman

  • Have a portfolio demonstrating strong proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting

  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software (optional BIM)

  • Experience in incorporating proposals by other consultants (eg. MEP, IT, AV, security, lighting, acoustics, structural, etc.) into technical drawings

  • Experience in compiling technical design and tender packages.

  • Competent knowledge of building regulations

Graphics Designer

The position is temporary full-time, part-time, freelance or internship.

Responsibilities and opportunities

  • Assist in graphic design, social media and editorial work

  • Assist in creating and editing marketing content (social media posts, website, etc.)

  • Maintain brand's consistency across visual assets

  • Occasionally assist on photoshoots and post-production

Requirements

  • Fluent in English; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus

  • Legibility to live and work in Hong Kong with permit preferable. Overseas candidates and remote working are also considered

  • Have a strong portfolio of individual design works that best demonstrates your creative skills (pdf or link)

  • Experience in applying design to digital advertising and/or marketing design

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Good knowledge of current trends in design and social media

  • Familiarity with website design/Squarespace preferred

  • Experience with video editing is a must

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Possess creative flair and a keen eye for aesthetics and details

  • Willingness to perform ad-hoc duties when required

Internships

We provide Internship position for students pursuing a career in architecture, interior architecture, furniture & products, graphics & illustration. Usually the duration is a minimum of 2 to an average of 6 months. However, some candidates may wish to stay on for extended experience. Motivated, creative and passionate candidates will be given the opportunity to shadow and work with us on some exciting projects in Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific. Each student will be assigned to a mentor to provide guidance and fulfill meaningful practice experiences. For overseas applications, candidates should apply for a working holiday visa.
